Made Well

Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Made Well Media (“Made Well”, “we”) helps people register companies with the CIPC. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we look after it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you register a company through us: the names, ID or passport numbers, home addresses, email addresses and phone numbers of the directors and owners; the company’s proposed names, addresses, contact details and financial year-end; and your payment confirmation (PayFast tells us a payment succeeded, we never see or store your card details). Later we may ask for certified copies of IDs.

Why we collect it

Only to prepare and submit your company registration, take payment, send you receipts and updates, and answer your questions. We may also send you one reminder if you started a registration and didn’t finish paying. We don’t sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

The CIPC and other authorities, as needed to register your company; PayFast, to process your payment; and the service providers that run our website, database and email (for example Netlify, Render, Supabase and Resend). They may only use your information to provide their service to us.

Saved progress on your device

While you fill in the form, we save what you’ve typed in your own browser (not on our servers) for up to 24 hours so you don’t lose it if you leave. It is cleared when your payment succeeds, and you can clear it any time with the “Start over” button. On a shared device, use “Start over” when you’re done.

How long we keep it

We keep registration records for as long as we need them to deliver the service and meet legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify them. Unpaid registrations may be deleted after a reasonable period.

How we protect it

Our database is access-controlled, payments happen on PayFast’s secure pages, and our site uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever suffer a breach affecting you, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as the law requires.

Advertising and measurement

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how well our adverts work, for example to count visits and completed registrations and to show our adverts to people who visited our site. It records which pages were visited and that a registration or payment happened. We do not send it the personal details you type into the form, such as names, ID numbers, addresses or emails. You can limit ad tracking in your Facebook settings or with a browser extension or ad blocker.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us on WhatsApp: 067 258 1319. If you’re unhappy with our response you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
